A Day in May - Dies to Die for DT card

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.
I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

My card today is made using some gorgeous goodies from Dies to Die for.

I hand stitched my layers, this was inspired by the lovely and extremely talented Linda who's cards are stunning!

Use Yellow and Blue

I have had this sweet Sugar Nellie image for a while , this is the first time I have got round to colouring her.

Memory Box Corner Bow
Flower punch (think it may be Woodware?)

Colourful Party Balloons

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.
I hope all is well with you and that you are having a good weekend.
I am here today to show you a very colourful card made with some gorgeous goodies from Dies to Die for.

This time I have had lots of fun playing with some wonderful new ink pads.
I have used the MFT Party Balloons stamp set. The yellow and pink balloons I stamped using some Hero Art Shadow Inks. These inks are really great for solid images, the coverage is fabulous and the colours are gorgeous. For the purple balloon I used a MFT Hybrid Ink pad, again this stamped beautifully.
The starry background was created with the same ink using a Memory Box Stencil.
The fabulous folded sentiment banner is a La-La Land die and the gorgeous Bubblegum coloured card was cut to size using a die from Die-Namics Blueprints 13.

The pink Doodlebug Sprinkles are a good colour match to the pink balloon but unfortunately they seem to clash a bit on my picture!

Items Used:

Creative Inspirations - Bright and Bold Colours

Shoreline Treasures - Dies to Die for DT card

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.
I hope you are well and having a good weekend.

My card today is made with some gorgeous goodies from Dies to Die for.

I have had fun making shadow box style card (there is a tutorial for these here) to feature some stunning Pion papers from the gorgeous Shoreline Treasures collection.

The main image and sentiment were cut from the Bottom of the Sea sheet, and the beautiful butterflies from the Borders sheet. I have inked the edges of the papers and flowers with Weathered Wood Distress Ink which is the perfect colour match.
The aperture was cut using a circle die included in Die-Namics Blueprints 12,  I love how it cuts a line of stitching around the edge of the circle. The pretty corner swirl is by Die-namites and the flowers are made with a Cheery Lynn die called Sweet Christine
