Good Morning to you all my wonderful friends and blogging buddies
I really do hope that you are all having a good weekend.
Its a cold but gloriously sunny morning here on the South coast of England.
Its a cold but gloriously sunny morning here on the South coast of England.
Today is the start of a new Joanna Sheen Challenge. Our theme for the next 2 weeks is
Silhouettes
as usual the wonderful prize is a £15 voucher to spend in the Joanna Sheen online shop.
Now, you will see that my card is not really in the traditional silhouette style. The reason for this is I was sent some fabulous Joanna Sheen Knitting Rubber Stamps
which I was determined to make fit the theme. So I heat embossed them to create the butterfly silhouette. Luckily for me the rest of the design team agreed that my was fine for the challenge (although looking on the challenge blog mine sticks out like a sore thumb!)
Items used
Budding Vine Embossing folder
Cheery Lynn mini fanciful flourish
Martha Stewart medium butterfly punch
Memory Box Cherry Blossom Die
If you pop over to the Joanna Sheen challenge blog you will be able to see with wonderful creations made by the rest of the design team .You will also be able to see who were the winners of our last challenge.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
DYSU - embossing Wet or dry
Poodles Parlour - anything goes
Totally Gorjuss - Things with wings
Card Making Mamas - Anything goes
Robyn's Fetish - Use an Embossing folder
Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog today, I really appreciate your support and encouragement.
I'm off to have a big catch up with all my commenting and see what you have all been up to.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Bye for now
Hugs
