Cute and Cuddly at A Gem of a Challenge

Hello again everyone.

As promised I am back with my second card of the day because today is the start of a new

 A Gem of a Challenge

I have made this card for my wonderful hubby. We will celebrate our 22nd Wedding Anniversary next Friday (I was a young bride!)  We have been through so much together in that time and I honestly feel so lucky and couldn't ask for a better husband, friend and dad to our children.

Anyway, enough of that, I had better get on with  my card. I have used the adorable Ozzie with Heart. I have cut a heart aperture for him to sit on and added Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the heart the hearts.

Love is Sweet - Dies to Die for DT card

I have 2 cards to share today so I am here bright and early with my first one.

As always on a Saturday I am lucky that I am able to share a card made with some gorgeous goodies from Dies to Die for.

Beautiful Bluebells

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.

I hope you all had a good Easter weekend. My children have all returned to school and college this morning, I am already missing them, the house is just too quiet.

Anyway, recently I was lucky to see a field full of stunning Bluebells, so lovely it almost took my breath away. Inspired by this I wanted to make a card featuring these beautiful flowers but with just one problem, I don't own any Bluebell stamps! Then I remembered that the gorgeous Fresh Flowers stamp set I recent bought from Clearly Besotted Stamps includes a Lily of the Valley image which looks fairly similar - hopefully ?!

As you can see, I have gone for a CAS design this time not wanting to distract from the image, using the fabulous sketch from this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.

Elsie with Roses - Dies to Die for DT card

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.

I hope all is well with you and that you are having a good Easter weekend. My Son is playing in his first cricket match of the season so we are hoping the weather stays fine.

Today is my day to share my card made with some gorgeous goodies from Dies to Die for.

I have had fun making an easel card to feature a totally adorable Wild Rose Studio stamp, this is Elsie with Flowers. The gorgeous papers are from Bo Bunny, I love the colours of these. The sentiment is from Die-Namics Polka Dot Greeting, this fabulous set comes with a choice of greeting and backgrounds and is so useful. The pretty peach scalloped layer had been cut with a Tonic Studio Nesting Die

I have used a Marianne Design Die for the rolled roses and a La-La Land Die for the stitched border.
