Sew What? at A Little Bit Crafty Challenge

Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.
I hope you are well and that you have had a good week.
So here we are at the beginning of August, this year is certainly flying by!

Anyway, today is the start of a new
This month our theme is
Sew What?
We want to see all your sewing themed crafty makes whether they have real sewing or faux sewing or something crafty that you've actually made with a needle and thread!

For this challenge we are sponsored by:

Darkroom door - collection of stamps

Whimsy stamps - $15 gift voucher

Blooming Felt Ltd - £20 voucher

Beads direct - £10 voucher

So, onto my card. I was very lucky to be sent some gorgeous stamps from Darkroom Door, one of our generous sponsors.
As you can see have keep my design fairly simple. My stitching has been done by hand. The papers are very old and unfortunately I don't know who they are made by.

Items Used:
Memento Ink - Rich Cocoa
Die-Namics Stitched Circle Stax
Die-Namics Blueprints 14 (flower)
Button and twine from stash

If you take a look at A Little Bit Crafty Challenge you will see the wonderful creations made by the rest of the design team.

I would like to enter my card into the following fabulous challenges:

Crafty Sentiment Designs - Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes
Milk Coffee Stamps - 2 or more die cuts
Fantastic Tuesday Challenge - Anything goes

Thank you for taking the time to stop and look at my card today. I really do appreciate it and love to read any comments you may wish to make
bye for now
hugs

Morning Sue

My Auntie used to have a sewing machine like that!! I spent many a happy hour working the treadle part at the bottom and watching the needle go up and down. (Wasn't allowed to put my fingers anywhere near the needle in those days LOL!!).

A really beautifully finished card and your hand stitching is so lovely. It must have taken for ever - but well worth the finished result.

I hope you have had a good week.

Love Jules xx

Hi, Sue! Great design! I completely appreciate all the stitching because mine never is straight, and yours looks great - especially on EVERY panel! (And you did it BY HAND! YIKES! I can scarcely hold a needle - I recently stitched some fibrous ribbon to a card and it was painstakingly arduous! LOL) My favorite part, though is your flower layers with the button and twine. I gave up being able to tie little bows, and now just COMPLETELY appreciate them on friends' blogs - love your card, and the cute, colorful monkey card, AND your beautiful wedding card, too. Apologies for not leaving a comment on each. love ya, de
