DT card for Fab n Funky Challenge 136 Birthday card with a Sketch


Good morning to you all, my lovely friends and blogging buddies.

Well, it's Wednesday again so that means it's the start of a new Fab n Funky Challenge and this time the lovely Shirley has chosen our theme of
Birthday Card with a Sketch
For this challenge will are very lucky to have 2 sponsors . The first one is Stamp Art Design by Kathryne who is a new sponsor for us with the wonderful  prize which is the choice of 5 digi stamps from Kathy's shop at Whimsy Stamps.

So here's my card. I added lots of stickles glitter to her wings, the hearts and the butterfly but, again, it is hard to see it on my photo. I also stamped some delicate leaves and flowers around the edges of the paper.

DT card for Sketch n Sketch Challenge 95 Daniele's Sketch

Hello Again,

Whoops!!  - I've been happily commenting on your gorgeous creations this morning and forgotten to publish this card. (This is my second post for today for my Card Mania DT card please scroll down.)

It's time for new Sketch n Stash Challenge and this time our Sketch was been designed by the lovely Daniele.

DT card for Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge Swirls and Pearls



Good Morning my lovely friends and blogging buddies. Thank you so much for your encouraging comments on my recent cards, it means so much.

So here is the birthday card which I made for my youngest daughter, Emily.
She is learning to play the piano at the moment, the mum of one of her friends is teaching her. Her ambition is to be a music teacher. So, when I saw Teresa (my crafty heart ) use this beautiful image I knew straight away that it would be perfect for her.

                            

I have tried to take a close up to show you the image in more detail, I always have trouble photographing easel cards. The tiny charm says 'made with love'

Fab n Funky Challenge 135 - Use Leaves Somewhere

Teddy Bea Sunbathing

I hope you are all well and enjoying some sunshine where you are.

I decided to have a little break from making Design Team cards and made a summery card for a friend who's birthday is next week. I wonder if the sun will still be shining!
I have in fact made a card very similar to this a few months ago , however, this was before I was a member of Blogland so you won't have seen it before.


I love the Teddy Bo and Teddy Bea images. They are cute but not too cute if you know what i mean? I think this makes them suitable for all ages.

Milly Pretty in Pink

Good Morning my lovely blogging friends and a really warm welcome to all of my new followers, thank you for being there

As you may have already seen on the Joanna Sheen blog today, I have some very exciting news to tell you. Paula has asked me join the fabulous Joanna Sheen Challenge design team!! I could hardly believe it when she asked me,  it really was a shock. I feel truly honoured to be part of such a wonderful and talented team. I have been so lucky lately.

So, onto today's card. I had intended to make another Christmas card yesterday but as you can see I had a change of plan. There are so many birthdays coming up next month so I decided I'd better get one of them made instead.

I noticed a fab sketch on Shelly's Images Blog so I used that for my inspiration. Of course I had to use another of my favourite Lili of the Valley images, you know how much I love them by now, and luckily lots of my friends do too!! So, it developed into a very pink and girly card.

DT card for Fab 'n' Funky Challenge 133 Use Pearls or Rhinestones

So, for my card I decided to have another go at making my own roses using my wonderful Spellbinders Rose Creations die. I used distress inks to colour the petals and the same ink to colour the circle before stamping on the sentiment
I sprayed my roses with Perfect Pearls Mist and in real life they look so much nicer than on my photo.
I wanted the roses to be the focal point so I keep the rest of the card quite simple.

Snow Bears - my first Christmas card!!

Good Morning my lovely blogging friends

I hope you are all well.  Like many of you, I have really enjoyed watching the Olympics this weekend. The GB team have done us proud.

Yesterday I made my first Christmas card of this year - at last! I had all good intentions to start much earlier in the year but just didn't get round to it. I have to admit that I do love making Christmas cards though, I love the colours and the sparkle.

So to start me off I choose one of my favourite Christmas stamps and you may have guessed .. it's by Lili of the Valley. No surprise I'm sure as you know I love all of their images. Also, I couldn't wait to use my new Memory Box die too!
I added loads of glamour dust to the snowflakes, it's a shame you can't see how sparkly it looks on the photo.

Happy Birthday Sarah

Just popping on to show you a card that I made for a  friend who's birthday was earlier in the week. I have checked she has received it first!

I bought this digi a while ago and somehow I'd forgotten I had it until I was looking through my files for something else and of course I didn't find what I was originally looking for but never mind because I was pleased to find this one.

My colour choice was inspired by the gorgeous glittery backing paper which you cannot really see on my photograph.

DT card for Fab n Funky Challenge 132 - Anything but a Card

Good Morning my blogging buddies and a big hello and thank you to all my new followers.

Today is the start of a new Fab 'n' Funky Challenge and this time our host it the lovely Rachel who has chosen the great theme of

Anything But A Card

We have a fabulous new sponsor  Flonzcraft who are stamp manufacturers based in New Zealand.

The design team were lucky enough to have some of their stamps to use for the challenge and let me tell you they have some gorgeous images to choose from.

I picked a beautiful stamp called Drop Tree and I decided to make an easel calendar, I don't think I've ever made one so far in advance before.


I stamped the image in distress ink which gave a nice texture to the leaves which is hard to pick up on the photo.  I also used the same image to stamp the edges of the paper on the base.

Simply Create Too - use it 2 times, at least ( used same stamp to make backing paper)
