Good Morning my lovely crafty friends.
I hope you all had a good Easter weekend. My children have all returned to school and college this morning, I am already missing them, the house is just too quiet.
Anyway, recently I was lucky to see a field full of stunning Bluebells, so lovely it almost took my breath away. Inspired by this I wanted to make a card featuring these beautiful flowers but with just one problem, I don't own any Bluebell stamps! Then I remembered that the gorgeous Fresh Flowers stamp set I recent bought from Clearly Besotted Stamps includes a Lily of the Valley image which looks fairly similar - hopefully ?!
As you can see, I have gone for a CAS design this time not wanting to distract from the image, using the fabulous sketch from this week's Sketch Saturday challenge.
Items Used:
Stamp - Clearly Besotted Fresh Flowers coloured with Promarkers and white gel pen
Sentiment - Clearly Besotted It's your Birthday (masked off the 'Happy')
Die-Namics Pierced Rectangle Stax
Doodlebug Sprinkles Lily White
Less Is More - Makes Me smile - Bluebells are so beautiful, I love the colour, they make me think of Springtime which is my favourite season and I always smile when I see them! However, I am not sure if there is enough 'white' space on my card so please delete if necessary!
Sketch Saturday - Fabulous Sketch
Clearly Besotted - Spring!
MAWTT - Include the word Happy!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop and look at my card today. I really do appreciate it and love to read any comments you may wish to make.
bye for now
hugs
