Pink and Blue Forget-me-Not

Hello Everyone

I hope you are well and having a good weekend. For me, I will be spending time with my lovely daughters as my son and hubby are out playing cricket both today and tomorrow. The forecast is quite good too which is a bonus!

Yesterday I decided to have a little break from making Design Team cards because I wanted to make a card to send to a special person who is going through a difficult time at the moment.
This gave me a good reason to colour another gorgeous image from Janey’s Digi Designs as you probably know by now how much I love making floral cards.

I chose the delicate Forget-Me-Not which seemed quite appropriate for the occasion. I hadn't realised that these tiny flowers also grow in shades of pink until I saw a photo of them on Janey's Digi designs blog. So, I decided on a pretty pink and blue colour scheme for a bit of a change.

Items Used:
Digi Stamp - Janey's Digi Designs Forget me Not coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Papers - Pink Petticoat Daisy Bouquet and Hydrangeas
Sentiment Stamp - Craftwork Cards
Butterfly punch (no makers name on it)
Organza ribbon from stash

If like floral cards then please take a look on Janey's Digi designs blog. You will see loads of inspiration on there from the Design Team and also some really wonderful creations made by customers using Jane's fabulous images.

I would like to enter my card into the following fabulous challenges:

Purple Wind Flower to say Thanks

Good Morning to you all my wonderful crafty friends
I hope you are well and having a good week so far.

My earliest card making memories are as a young child making cards for friends and family to thank them for Birthday and Christmas presents. I think that is where my love of crafting began.
So, as it is my Birthday tomorrow (and maybe I will be lucky enough to get a couple of pressies !!) I decided to be really organised for a change and made some really simple cards ready to write out.

As you know, I love making floral cards so I chose the gorgeous the Wind Flower (or Wind Anemone) from Janey’s Digi Designs. I layered up the biggest flower and shaped the petals with an embossing tool.

Items Used:
Digi Stamp  - Wind Flower  Janey's Digi Design coloured with Promarkers
Nellie Snellen Multi Frame die Doily Flower
Memory Box - Lorelai Leaf
Memory Box - little thanks available @ MCH

Martha Stewart Medium Monarch Butterfly
Paper - Pink Petticoat Fairy Dots
pearls from stash

If you like floral cards then pop over to Janey's Digi Design Blog where you will be able to see loads of inspiration using Jane's gorgeous images.
