A Gem of a Challenge - Lavender and Lace

Good Morning to you all, my wonderful friends and blogging buddies and a big warm welcome to all my new followers too, I feel so honoured to have you there.

I'm here today to tell you about the new challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge.
This time  the lovely Debbie has chosen the theme of

Lavendar and Lace

This challenge will run until 6pm 4th January 2013
The prize for the winner will be.....
4 Digi images of the winners choice from PINK GEM DESIGNS (Subject to Availability)....
So, if you fancy a change from making Christmas cards this is ideal, or you may decide to make a festive card using non-traditional colours.

Janet has recently added some adorable new snowmen to her Pink Gems Designs Shop called The Snow Cute Set and they really are cute too. In the set you get 3 digi stamps, in black and white and colour plus 3 bonus sentiments!!
Of course I couldn't resist making a card with one of them and luckily enough the friend I have made this for loves this colour.

Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge - Let it Snow!

Good Morning Everyone
I hope you are all keeping well and looking forward to the weekend. I know I am!

So, I'm here to tell you about the new Stampin' for the Weekend Challenge which starts today.
Our theme , is a very appropriate one

Let it Snow !

Our prize is a voucher from the wonderful Simon Says Stamp.

I decided to use this theme to make my Dad's Christmas card. Last year I sent him a card with my favourite snowman on (Penny Black's Snowy) and he loved it so this time I used my second favourite snowman which is also by Penny Black and hopefully he will love this one too.
Not many embellishments on this one but hopefully all the sparkle ( which is hard to see on here) makes up for it

Lili's Little Fairies Challenge - Use 3 punches or dies

Good Morning everyone, I hope you are all well and managing to stay warm.

Gosh, this week is going fast. It's Thursday already so that means the start of a new challenge over at

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - A Non Traditional Christmas colours

I hope you are all having a good week, I think we may be due some snow here today which my children will be pleased about!

Well, as it is Wednesday I'm here with my DT card for the wonderful Fab n Funky Challenge.

Sketch 'n' Stash Challenge 102 - My Sketch!!


Hello again everyone.
As promised I'm back with my second post for the day. If you would like to see my card for the card Mania Challenge please scroll down the page.
So today it the start of a new Sketch 'n' Stash Challenge and this time we are onto Sketch number 102 which is my sketch!!

I used the sketch to make a Christmas card for one of my best friends. She has always kept pet rabbits so it has become a bit of a tradition for me to send her a card with a bunny on.
I used one of my older Lili of the Valley images this time, I'd almost forgotten how much I love this cutie!
There is a lot of sparkle added to all the navy blue matting and the tree which of course you cannot really see on my photo.

Card Mania Challenge - Weddings or Anniversary


Good morning to you all, my wonderful creative friends.

I hope you all had a good weekend.
I know lots of you have been busy putting up your Christmas decorations and I've seen some gorgeous photos of your trees.  Oh, I do love this time of year.

Well, it's the start of another busy week on my blog. I'm not complaining, I honestly love being part of such fabulous Design Teams. I just don't want you to get fed up with me and please don't feel that you have to comment on every card, unless you want to!

Ladybug Crafts Challenge - Christmas and/or Winter

It's the weekend at last, yippee!!!!It's also the 1st of December so that means the start of a new Ladybug Crafts Challenge
