I have been trying to make a few flatter cards this year as postage is so expensive now. Therefore, my card is fairly basic but I have used one of my favourite colour schemes so hopefully that makes up for it!

I am starting to wish I could go a little less on my cards too but for postage I make 'flatter' ones but mostly I give my cards to charity to sell and make profits...not good at CAS style anyway...xxx

This is gorgeous Sue and I love the colours you have used. I agree about the postage and I must admit that I made almost all my Christmas cards flat. When it's a special occasion it's difficult to keep flat but I do try to hand deliver those if at all possible. Christine xx

Great card.And I am with you about postage costs - one of my ladies who used to buy odd cards for her family was very apologetic saying she wanted to buy but had to look for something a 'bit less fancy' as postage was too much...... so you're right to try and make some 'flatter' ones. x

More gorgeousness :-) Post has always been expensive here in Australia - efficient, but pricey! "Flat" cards are always on the menu for posting, you learn to keep your chunky numbers for hand-giving! Love the colours you've used, and the sweet Wrynn of course, Donna xx

Ah yes, the old postage problem! No worries with this card though and still very beautiful in it's flatness! It's all about the layers and a few well chosen embellies for a flat card and you have nailed it!

A beautiful flat card design! One really needs to have some of those at hand too, for postage. I had planned to send my latest one as a birthday card to my sister, but it was impossible to get it nicely into an envelope, so I'll keep that one for a birthday where I'll be present on the birthday.... My favorite color for sweet girly cards is also blue:)
